ScoutByRohi
Privacy policy
ScoutByRohi is operated by Rohi Aluede. This notice explains how the service handles your information. Updated 19 September 2026.
Information we use
We store your account identifier, email address, verification status and sign-in provider; saved listings and application stages; and any email-alert preferences you choose. Authentication is handled by Google Firebase, not by storing your password in ScoutByRohi’s database.
Why we use it
Account and tracker information lets us provide the service you request. Optional job alerts use your selected sector, programme and location to send matching opportunities to your verified account email. You can pause alerts or unsubscribe at any time. Security and delivery records help protect the service, troubleshoot failures and prevent duplicate emails.
Service providers
Cloudflare hosts the website and its D1 application database. Google Firebase provides authentication. Resend delivers job-alert emails. GitHub Actions runs scheduled listing checks. These providers may process data outside Ireland or the EEA under their applicable data-processing terms and safeguards.
Browser storage
Necessary browser storage keeps you signed in, remembers tracker state and stores your dismissal of the storage notice. Clearing it can sign you out; account-synced tracker data remains on the server. Analytics configuration is managed separately and must be assessed before enabling any non-essential tracking.
Retention and your rights
Account information and tracker history are retained while your account remains active. Delivery and security records are retained to operate and protect the service; automatic retention periods are not yet configured. You may request access, correction, export or deletion, and object to or restrict processing where applicable. Account deletion requests require manual handling across authentication, application and email systems.
